Description
Sliding Doors has a longstanding relationship with the Godfather of Rave, Slipmatt, and he turned to us to help promote his ‘Slip Back In Time’ Ibiza holiday brand and his personal PR. We developed a storyboard of pitch ideas and identified that it was the 30th anniversary of his classic SL2 release ‘On A Ragga Tip’ and subsequently the 35th anniversary of the first rave he ever DJ’d at.
Using these hooks we secured a range of high-profile features for Slipmatt in Resident Advisor (two separate features), The Ransom Note, DJ Mag (two separate features), Mixmag, Decoded Magazine, 6 Music, Undrtone, Ibiza Spotlight, When We Dip, The Sun and many more.
